Scottish Water
Scottish Water is trusted to care for the water on which Scotland depends and is proud of the service we provide. Every day we deliver 1.52 billion litres of clear, fresh drinking water, and remove 1.10 billion litres of waste water which we treat, recover resources from and return safely to the environment. The services we deliver are vital to the daily lives of 2.61 million households and more than 150,000 business premises and support a flourishing Scotland.
Sustainability & Supply Chain
We are committed to achieving net zero operational emissions by 2030 and net zero emissions across both our operational and capital investment programmes by 2040. Our supply chain partners, particularly in capital investment programme, are key to achieving these targets and ensuring Scotland’s water sector plays its part in Scotland’s sustainability goals.
Why a Member?
While most of the larger organisations in our supply chain have their own decarbonisation plans, our smaller supply chain partners need support to development their own targets and plans. SBCC’s supply chain sustainability school can help our smaller suppliers understand the opportunities and identify the actions they can take to reduce emissions. We believe the school can help our partners help us.
